Last week we had the pleasure of partnering with Cornerstone Event Management and Travel Managers Australia for their 2024 annual conference, held at the Cairns Convention Centre. This year’s theme, Working Smarter, emphasised refining processes and embracing innovative changes to enhance efficiency - a perfect reflection of our own approach to event production.
Our role at the conference involved delivering a full suite of technical event production services, working closely with Cornerstone and the TravelManagers team to ensure every detail was executed seamlessly. This included:
Plenary AV design: We designed a Plenary set that was not only visually striking and engaging, but also allowed for seamless AV functionality. To align with the event’s theme, we incorporated unique elements such as custom lightboxes, achieving the desired aesthetic while carefully adhering to budget constraints.
Speaker content management: From keynote addresses by Chelsea Pottenger and Cathy Freeman to personal travel manager presentations, our team assisted with all speaker content, ensuring smooth transitions and flawless delivery throughout the event.
Event producer and show caller: We supplied a dedicated event producer and show caller who oversaw the flow of the event, coordinating with speakers and technicians to guarantee everything stayed on schedule and ran according to plan.
Tech rehearsals and on-site support: Prior to the event, we managed tech rehearsals to ensure all presentations and equipment were ready to go. During the event, our technician was on-site to monitor AV systems, troubleshoot any issues, and provide real-time technical support.
